Marie Kondo insists her clients make tidying an event…a marathon is actually how she describes it. The KonMari Method is a very specific approach to decluttering. Kondo focuses heavily on decluttering or discarding, after all, she’s a minimalist at heart! Let’s take a look at the basics of her method and the 16 things Marie Kondo says to discard. The KonMari method has two basic components 1) discarding and 2) deciding where to store things.
